Review
Internet......is this a way to the future?
Coming from a perspective where you don't know how important and useful an online identity is I have learnt more than what I thought would come from this project. As I look and comment through other people's blogs, it occurs to me how differently everyone thinks of design. Since a blog reflects who you are as a person, everyone's design style is unique and different, this can be seen by their own personalised blog they have created.
There are some awesome blogs and I have enjoyed looking through others to see what have they done. By commenting on other 112 blogs I can express what I think about it :)
I have listed some blogs that I think are cool in my blog list.

Not just a clip
As my partner and I sat in a cafe brainstorming, the idea of moving through stages of industrial design came to mind...
Technology has changed everyday objects. It is not until we look back into the past, that we suddenly realise how fast our world is developing. This became the storyline for our movie...
Restriction = time (approx 30 seconds)
Video to be made of only photos
Think about composition + narrative + colour + light + shadow etc...
Program used = Windows Movie Maker
Technology / objects included into movie were:
+ telephone vs cellphone
+ cash register vs eftpos machine
+ boombox vs radio vs record player vs ipod
+ calculators
Overall I think the movie was a success as we were awarded a prize and a top mark. Enjoyed getting positive feedback and comments from various people. Project made me realise in depth how "design is everywhere" and how dramatic technology is changing these days.
Next time you come across an object, think how it got to be what it is now...
